Rothstein exhibit "When Government Worked" opens Dec 7 in San Francisco

An exhibit of Arthur Rothstein’s compelling documentary images of America in the Great Depression opens with a reception on Friday, December 7 at the Cannessa Gallery in San Francisco’s North Beach Neighborhood. Sales of modern, archival prints during the exhibit will benefit the important work of the Living New Deal, a Berkeley-based non-profit dedicated to researching and disseminating the story of President Franklin Roosevelt’s infrastructure, reform and cultural programs.
